June 24, 20187 yr I had posted this video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuiR4Tqbi3M It seems like the front wheel bearing I'm going to check which side but it seems I have shimmy in both directions when turning the wheel but it's more pronounced when turning to the left. I assume it should not be too hard to take the hub out of the front of the '05 Legacy GT

June 25, 20187 yr These can be tricky, I had one that got quiet when on the outside of the turn, opposite the normal noise pattern.
June 26, 20187 yr i changed mine wheel bearing last week front driver side. just removed all spindle hub , took it to near garage where people have hydraulic press. and they removed old bearing and put new in place in couple minutes. payed just couple euros . same time check those ball joints. if they not knocking but have kinda loose feeling just change them too .
