Featured Replies

Yes and yes I agree

Anyone willing to get a cast on the go for a few more?

I know a guy out my way that's pouring a cast for his tractor heads.  He does tractor pulls and cracks/destroys heads all the time apparently.  He can't find replacement heads due to the age of the tractor (probably from the 50's) so he's casting and machining his own!

Maybe a set of cast heads might be the way to go... you know, to "counter act" the performance the turbo gives with a bit more weight in the engine!

Cheers

Bennie

The heads are already cast, they're not forged or anything fancy...

I think  Bennie meant cast iron heads

Ford Australia produced a cylinder head for 1971 and 1972 250 ci sixpot in cast iron. Today this head is so popular and sought after in the US for all their six ccylinder mustangs that some one is reproducing them in alloy. The US never had their own design. Argentina did a similar head but Oz version was chosen for the parts availability rocker gear etc

Six month wait I believe on orders. Might be worth contacting them
