Can I retrofit 'sport mode' to a car that didn't have it?

Featured Replies

If my 2003 subaru outback LLB H6 does not have sport mode button can I add it?

Does that require a new computer, or what?

Thanks.

HI,

I kinda went thru this exercise w/a WRX (yes, I made the mistake of buying an Auto-equipped WRX - Can you spell LAG?). I looked this up HERE. Not exactly yours, but may worth a read.

Sounds more complicated than is worth, at least for the models in that thread.  Don't see anything specific about my model yet.

Your car doesn't have the programming for any sort of sport mode. So no, you can't add a button that will do anything.
