ACC pedal stiffer after cross pipe swap !!

Featured Replies

I swear the change from. 87 onwards 41mm orifice turbo exhaust cross over up pipe to the first series 85/86 35 mm pipe last week has increased the accelerator pedal 'spring' tension!

If you didn't touch the throttle cable while changing the crossover pipe I'd say the more likely scenario is that your throttle cable is fraying.

I know little of turbos, but maybe more vaccum or boost makes the throttle blade a little harder to move? Placebo effect? I'm out of ideas...lol

How has the change to as smaller up pipe affected the feel of the engine? And what car are you boosting here?

I had to touch it as i Had the engine out and upside down for thread repair. Immediate change and think it is my new LHD cable from Rock. It is. And 100 mm longer than RHD. No idea why Subatu
