Cranks over but won't start and no dash lights with key in "on" position

Featured Replies

2000 Outback. Cranks over but won't start. No dash lights with key in "on" position. Radio works.

I'm suspecting the ignition switch as all other threads have to do with f/pump, crank sensor etc. The dash lights is what tells me it's something else.

Checked all inside & eng comp

Wish it was...

When you checked the fuses in the dash panel, did you check to see if power was getting to them? I assume it is the Warning lights you are referring to that are not working, correct?

Fuse 5 in the Main panel supplies power to the Ignition relay. Check for power on the fuse and at the relay. Make sure the relay is working properly.

Alternator dying on my trailblazer caused this. Radio worked, dash lights didnt, it would crank but never turn over. So... Maybe check that for shitd and giggles.
