September 25, 20196 yr You can probably disassemble that switch and clean up the contacts. I think you can still get them on RockAuto...
September 26, 20196 yr Have the same problem with my switch. Exact same color and set up. I have to play with button until it stays on. Will have to try the coin trick or take it apart and clean it.
September 26, 20196 yr Those switches are known to be dicky. They’re easily pulled apart to be cleaned up, they are fiddly though! You need to get behind the switch as it’s held in by two screws Cheers Bennie
September 29, 20196 yr Author So what I learned is, if the button is in the out/off position and you put a penny on the side and then push it in, it will sometimes work in a pinch. Which really helped me out.
September 29, 20196 yr Author This was honestly at 5:30 AM, before the sun came up, and a penny is the first thing I grabbed in the dark. I have used it multiple times since then but only when I need it, hence when in a pinch.

September 30, 20196 yr You could fold up a small piece of cardboard and wedge it in there. If you're saving your pennies. I use a cardboard wedge for various things, mostly for 9V batteries in things that don't make contact as well as they should.
October 3, 20196 yr Funny mine refuses to turn OFF but only sticks if I push it slowly, if I kinda tap it will work release correctly and stop the defrosting.
