March 18, 20206 yr I have a 90 loyale that has a no start I have replaced the coil and there is no spark right after the coil I am wondering what these plug goes too will show in picture it is the same kind of plug that plugs in the the transistor the weird thing on the ig coil bracket
March 18, 20206 yr The coil bracket needs to be well grounded on these. No spark w/o the transistor being grounded. Any codes? Got 12 volts at the coil-key on? Only other connection to the coil is the noise suppression capacitor on coil positive.
March 18, 20206 yr By no spark after the coil, do you mean you have spark at the coil? If you have spark at the coil and not at the plugs, it's most likely the rotor has come unscrewed in the distributor.
March 22, 20206 yr Author I have just been checking the spark by pulling the spark plug wire of if the distributor and seeing if it will ark off of a group.

March 24, 20206 yr You have to have the coil bracket bolted to the car. The transistor is attached to it, and has to be grounded to work.
