I have heard people say to always lube you clutch fork and throw out bearing. I have never done that and was wondering if it’s something you should or shouldn’t do? I’m changing mine out now and was just curious if anyone else has some more insight?

As I understand it, you should lubricate the release fork pivot and the transmission input splines that the clutch rides on.

Have you consulted the OEM factory service manual?

Not yet, I haven’t been home to look yet

Always clean and grease all contact points in the clutch release system.

Yep. Big fan of not rushing things here. Clean up and new grease. Very hard to get back in there if things go wrong

We use Amsoil waterproof grease (the blue stuff). It lasts a long time in this application.
