March 17, 20215 yr Forester has pretty high clearance. how to DIY an oil drain pan, and customize it to your car, so that it can prevent oil splashes. Not only it is a better oil pan, but also it is free, saving you money.
March 19, 20215 yr This wouldn’t happen to be a shame(less)-plug for more hits on a new channel in the hope for more subscribers and thus more monetisation profits?? If not, continue! Cheers Bennie
March 19, 20215 yr Thanks, nice little hack. I don't think I'd go quite so far as to call it a work of "genius", though.
March 21, 20215 yr I've been cutting the bottom off of 5 gallon buckets ever since working in the industrial sector where this is common practice and has been since right after they invented dirt. Spin the bucket through a running bandsaw blade. Can make many heights, cut notches for easier drain, etc. This is nothing new. Wait till dude discovers funnels made from soda bottles! LOL. GD But wouldn't cutting the bottoms off allow the oil to leak out all over the place? Wouldn't it be better to cut the tops off?
