I just noticed today when listening to HD Radio station 0n the lower right of the touch screen is a "button" that shows 1 2 3. You can select 1 2 or 3 by touching the button. I gather it has something to do with the HD signal, but what?

have you checked in the owners manual for info?

 

On MY14 Impreza HD radio, some stations had 3 selections within a station. the primary one was the one you were used to listening to. While the 2nd may be all weather from the same station and the 3rd, all news, or different types of music.

the 1-2-3 option shows up when HD is selected. They are substations.

If you have issues with poor signal, disable HD is suggested.
