torpedo51 Posted August 23, 2023 Share Posted August 23, 2023 Every time that I put in the clutch and shift to neutral, the rpm drops to idle, then surges to 1800rpm EXACTLY THREE TIMES before settling back to idle. It happens every time. Always three surges. It was throwing a MAF code before I replaced the MAF sensor, but that didn't help. I've also replaced the O2 sensor twice with no effect. Ferret54 Posted August 24, 2023 Share Posted August 24, 2023 Possibly Neutral Switch. Had them go intermittent or bad, but my 5 speeds were NOT drive by wire, so would call out idle control solenoid.
