What is it that causes your clock to start at 1:00 everytime you start the car. And now it started binking like its a timing light. The good news to this is I have learned that while I'm driving into work and I've left at 7:40am and I look at the "drive time clock" and I see that it says 1:25, that means I'm late .... again:-\

Does your Hazards or Horn work? On an 84 They are on the same circuit (as are many other years) and if they both dont work check that fuse in your fusebox.

That's probably the first thing I should have done. I just gotta be careful and make sure I don't pull the misc. Jeff pearson wireing harness off. That would ruin my weekend.

Problem could also be in the clock itself, where the wires attach to the circuitboard of the clock. There's a write-up on repairing that in here somewhere. Think I may have even saved it to my HD, have to look for it.

Both my '82 and the '86 do/did that. The '84 seems to be working as it should for now atleast.

there are some wires that com from the column to a green connector, and I believe they are for the door dinger. disconnect the green connector and see what happens...

Wow. I thought that I was the only one who's clock did that. The clock in my 85 Brat resets itself to 1:00 everytime I leave it shut off for more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time. It recently started resetting itself to 11:00. It's kinda cool cause I can see how long it takes to get places, from my house into town, it takes me roughly 25-28 minutes. My horn doesn't work as well, neither does my flashers. I REALLY should look at my fuses I guess, but it just dawned on me that they all don't work. Thanks for the help!
