I am having a hard time finding mine on the 84 brat

sorry i don't have any pics but on my 84 wagon you picked up the rear seat and pulled a ruber grommet out of the floor to get to the adjuster i hope that helps

The "triangle thing" they are talking about there is the adjuster, You have to crawl under the Brat, there isn't an acess hole in them, then right above the diff on the torsion houseing (large round tube running left to right), there is a bolt ON TOP of the triangle, that's the torsion adjuster.

there's no way you'll move that torsion adjustment bolt. too much rust.

 

your best bet, would be to put on the rear coil-overs out of your wagon, and cut off the triangle.

I second Mick's suggestion not to attempt turning the bolt on that Brat.
