So I got me a third light that I will be installing.

 

Now I need to know how to get the cover to open.

 

I figured out how to get the light to turn on. I just can seem to get the motor to work.

 

anyone w/a working third light out there that can give me a hand?

McBrat has a diagram somewhere too.

if you go to Radio Shack (or equivalent electronics supply type store)

you can get a DPDT Switch and wire it using this diagram....

I have a writeup somewhere that uses a stock switch and a DPDT Relay that CLantieri wrote up a while back.... but not sure where it's at....

pretty sure i found the factory relay. I will post up pictures tonight. the only part of the wiring i still need to pull is from the small connector out the relay from under the engine compartment, going to the cab to the center lamp switch. Everything else ii have pulled out.
