Snowman
Hehe, thanks. I can't take credit for the quote though, as I saw it somewhere else (could have even been on this board since I spend way too much time here:rolleyes: .)
grantsxt
I love that saying, I have an old super beetle and Love it because i can floor it, accelerate hard, and yet i have never bet anyone in acceleration, and that fast the car has ever gone for me is 61, so to get a speeding ticket it is impossible. I think the one bumper stick that sums up a bug is the following: 0 - 55 in 11 minutes
Alexx
My 81 Subaru gives me the illusion of speed when I accelerate. I can actually get the front wheels to peel out and I'm still on the original engine. And the car can allegedly do more than 60, but how would I know that? maximumBRAT
I like it when you take an RX and feel the pull as the turbo kicks on. That car is not a street racer, but it puts you back in the seat. Ny '81 sounds like a beast, so w/ enough revving to skip a gear and when you push the clutch it kind of barks. I've gotten it to 75 down hill at 4000, and not doing it again.
subawoohoo
"It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow." well thats why you dont drive the fast car slow.

Caboobaroo
I had my '78 Brat doin 90 and with no suspension, I didn't feel any bumps:D But yeah, it was a little scary but I'll be able to do 130+ when I'm done with it!
