What makes it worth the $5,500?

rust free, and extremely low mileage. there was an 82 Brat in OR/WA that was prstine and had 75k on the clock. it sold for $6200.

 

Insurance companies are also recognizing the Brats as collectors vehicles, so the really nice ones bring good money.....

Unmolested and orignal condition, also drive the prices way up. This is the direction for BRATs. I just saw one sell at an auction in PA for $4800 and it was in worse condition, but original/stock and low mileage.
