A kind friend of mine 'gave' me an alloy bullbar off one of his (many) broken down ea81 series wagons.

I looked under the front of my 92 wagon to find it dosent have the mounting plates like the ea81 one did.

 

Has anybody ever but a bullbar off an ea81 series car on an ea82 car?

What kind of adapter plate do I have to find?

 

Please help cos I realy wanna put it on ASAP

Yours are totally different than our bars. We dont have Roo's here :cool: Your most likely going to have to do some fab work to get it to fit.

But the mounting brackets for them should be the same for whichever country shouldn't they?

 

Thats assuming that non Aust soobs can have "bullbars, brushbars, metal thingys on the front"

i have pretty much the same bar off a 84 brat, i installed it on my 86 4wd wagon. looks sweet and helps a ton, just made brackets that bolt onto the tow hooks and bolts on the top of the bumper

looks like you could yank off the bumper and slide it in to bolt up
