i just figured out that my car is an ea71 (i was wiping the dirt off of the engine and read "ea71") and was wondering if the chassis for the 1.6L is the same as the 1.8L, and if i can use the ozified 3"/3" lift on it.

if you have the 80-84 body style (and 85-87 Brats, 85-89 Hatchbacks), then yes, it will work. if you have the 72-79 body style (and 80-81 Brats), it will not work.

if you have the 80-84 body style (and 85-87 Brats, 85-89 Hatchbacks), then yes, it will work. if you have the 72-79 body style (and 80-81 Brats), it will not work.

How about 82-87 Brats?

That falls into the 80-84 model range, so yes, it will work. Although if you plan on offroading it, then I would pu the 1800 engine in. Also that can't be the original engine because no USDM Gen 2 brats had 1600 to the best of my knowledge.
