Legacy_After Market Fog Light Kit

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a source for aftermarket foglights that will fit a 03 legacy..$400 for a pair of OEM lights from a dealer is totally out of the budget.

Do a search online for Hella, Pilot, KC, etc. lighting companies. See what catches your fancy and go from there. Also take the part number for the factory lighting kit for your car and enter it on subaruparts.com. They have the best prices I have seen so far.

yeah get the SOA # from the dealership and do that and then contact WJM cause he might be able to beat that price even

I checked subaruparts..cheapest is $198 and I'm not sure that even comes with wiring and switch/fuse..the hella 500 series is only $78 with everything but I don't think it will fit the 03 leg darnit..I sent WIM a PM..we'll see.

I guess it all depends what you want. Cardomain has some fog lights for $20, I am sure they are not that great, but hey $20 is very cheap. But If you want some high quality, really bright lights, perhaps these are not the best choice.

I don't want cheapo lights but I also don't wantta get scalped for a OEM pair for $200+ and higher from subaru. I looked at the Hella series, anyone know which series will fit a 03 legacy..photos would be a real plus but not nessesary.

Have you tried the local salvage yards? (Or the not so local ones.) Find a car that has been hit in the front, but still has the factory fog lights in good shape, and you should be able to get them cheap. If the bumper assembly is all good, then expect to pay a little more for them. If you don't have any salvage yards within driving distance, try junkyarddog or any of those other online junk yard services. The best bet is to pull it yourself, as most salvage yards just snip and pull.

Check eBay. I got my set of OEM fog lights there for around $100. I checked eBay every so often till I found some so if they dont have any now keep checking back.

I'm still looking for used OEM.Maybe the Hella FF Micro's for $120 are real fog lights? :)

Merry Xmas all

Checkout your local yards, I bought mine (Legacy GT ones - Projecter ones) for AU$70 (USD$50)

Just matter of time and you'll source good ones.

Cheers
