i am close to getting tires.

if i get the tires i want i will definitely use them,but will not be able to get other accessories soon.if i get some cheaper tires i will obviously be able to get some of the other things i am looking at.i really want to get the tires i want but at a better price than i have found online.i cannot find them locally.

how much are you guys on the coast paying for tsl radials,tsl/sx,or ssr radials,by interco?is there a shop over there that is stocking them in our 14 and 15 inch sizes?where oh where can i get them cheaper

Cooper Discoverer STT's. Those were the cheapest deal i could find. I ended up going to Coopers website where i found the tires, and looked up local dealers. I called a list of them until i found the best price.

 

I got the 205/75R14's that measure 26.1". Perfect for my 3" lift and alloy rims. The shop that had them, had them sitting collecting dust. He sold 4 to me for $300 mounted.

I also was told $88/wheel (mounted+warranty service) for some Cooper Discoverer LT 27x8.50R14 today at a local tire shop. It looks like I'll be going w/ those.

Get the tires man. Tires are SO key. You can save up a little longer for the other bling while you wheel on those new tires

No bling on a HP rig!!

 

Check with 4wheel parts. Coopers are OK. I ran them on my Hatch but as soon as I bolted TSL's on it there was no going back. The SSR's are the best all round tire for mud, rocks and whatever else you'll find in Spokie.

i am not deciding over bling......these are necessary items for a trail rig,jack,better brakes and what not.......

How do people feel about buying a tire online when there is no local store which is backing up the warranty on the tire.

 

I'm not sure how the online warranties work, but as I recall from a friend's experience, you have to send a defective tire in to the vendor's [website] factory for the warranty to be useful. Whereas if you buy locally, you have the assurance that you can walk in (or drive in on a spare) and use your warranty.

My friend bought performance tires for his 99 Mustang GT from TireRack.com. They honored his warrenty when one had tread speration in a month. The thing that sucked was he had to take it off, box it up, ship it out, drive around on a donut, and wait for the new one to come in the mail.

I try to buy my tires at Les Schwabb as aften as possible. The tires cost a little more, but you cannot beat the warrantee. I like to be able to speak face to face with a person when I want a company to make good on a warrantee.

Call around to different shops, you'll find a big difference in prices.

Yeah, it's kinda dissapointing that the online warranties require shipment for service. You can't beat their prices, but you sure can beat the warranties easilly. Meanwhile they quote 200/wheel for SSR's to me. Oh well.
