does this mod improve steering feel? is it worth doing?

Its DEFINATLY worth doing. The only reason Ive not done so on the RX yet is $...and time to pull it off my wagon which is sitting.

 

The response and feel was improved 10000% on my wagon.

 

The ones for the "GC8 non-RA" are near direct fit. The square one is 100% bolt in. The round one needs to be trimmed some to fit, but otherwise is a perfect fit.

im guessing that thread was for an impreza installation. is there a write up on this for our cars?

no, cuz I didnt do one. To my knowledge I am the ONLY one do use one of those bushing sets on a Leone.

and by the looks of things for us old OLD schoolers is to look at the Datsun Z car Industry for those for us to use thank goodness I got that catalog from a place down in cali that does restoration and new performance equipment for the older Z cars

nah, by the looks of that impreza write up, its nearly the same as the 80s ones. I think it may be a bit easier though.

damn, why does tis pop up after i already have the rx getting rack put in, i bet there is no chance to get th bushings today as well. thats just one of many things i want to do to the rx before im done with it.

Do they make these rack bushings for a Justy? My 88 Justy rack is a rear steer bolted to the firewall (The bushings look like the round one pictured in the thread). Will the EA 82 bushings work?? How can I get them?

I dont know what will fit the justy. You can get the bushing set form Dale at Boxer4Racing.com.
