March 3, 200521 yr Author cause im bored tonight I'm going to start a FYI thread on lowering alright i'll check that out. i'm looking into lowering my 85' GL wagon ( D/R 4WD) and i need help.
March 3, 200521 yr Good place to start is here... Then on to this... And this... End result is this. Sprigs run $50-$100 depending on where you get them. Only real modifications needed are a little grinding on a piece of the front strut.. $.99 for a grinding disc for my angle grinder. A spring compressor is a good thing to have to take the original springs off, but there are other ways to do it. I always use the compressor because they can be rented at autozone for nothing. I'm sure Brad's write up will be more in depth than mine, but that should get you started.
