i have a spare 86 ea81 hatchback 4x. i have always wanted to race something... im entertaining the idea of ice racing, or possibly autox. id lower it and make it all handly... but whadaya thing, i know nothing about racing import cars.

you could do solo2 (prolly SM or another mod class) for kinda cheap if you can fab.

Yeah, I'd go for autox. I'm going to be racing my wagon in SCCA H stock this season.

autox might be a bad idea with true 4x, would need ft4wd for that, you'd be binding so bad otherwise. unless you can convert the tranny, I'd say stick with ice racing/rallyx,

Ice race it. short, light car. get a set of tires with big lugs and put 4 wheeler ice studs in the tires... you'll fly

i do run them in rwd alot, low range 2wd is pretty fun
