JibsI think a show in Northern California would be way cool and fun, But most of the people on the board seem to be from Oregon and Washington. How many members would SERIOUSLY drive from there down this way, it seems like there's only 4 or 5 of us driving all the way up to Shelton, but how many would have to drive all the way down this way, 25-30? More? It doesn't seem reasonable. I'm not sayin it can't be done, it would just be hard.

 

I'd go... but hey you really gotta think about this... last year i was the only Canadian to venture down to OR... and now this year, since it is closer, i believe there are 8(thats a rough guess...) going this year...

 

the closer it is the more people from the surrounding location would go... i bet if it were in California there would be oodles more people from California going...

 

and Ken is right... since it IS all them doing all the work for these events it makes sense for them to have it near them...

Tex, you must be bored at work again. The 'D' one would make a great bumper sticker, but then I hate bumper stickers so what would I know.

Tex, I think D and F kick rump roast. But, I'm looking for one that can be transfered onto a beer glass. . . F especially would make a killer t-shirt and or banner, but imagine how impossible it would be to etch that onto a beer mug. . .

 

PK's last one in black and white - the circle would probably be perfect.

I don't know about that, I think I remember someone making that suggestion, that they be able to find the show by the logo. PK, your's is just a little too high. But then everyone know how picky I am.

I can see it know, dozens of out-of-state Subaru nuts driving around with a beer stein and a compass on their dash - throw away the GPS.

I was going to mention about the position of the star on some of the earlier post with WCSS in the state, they seemed a little to far north east. Shelton is pretty much strait south of the bottom of the hook on Hood Canal, on the end of the sound. Designs look great, shelton should be a good place, there are tons of logging roads around for some light off roading.

I have offered to handle the glasses/mugs this year and I want to know, what peoples favorites are. keep in mind, I will be etching them and as such the design needs to be pretty simple and obviously black and white

Totally a suggestion here (and certainly not to diminish last year's mug, it's great), could we perhaps have a smaller, more standard sized mug? 12~14 ounces seems big enough, the 20 and 24-ouncers seemed a bit big and cumbersome.

My WCSS6 mug isnt being drank out of, it's more of a display and now its full of nickles, dimes and quarters.

lol when I went to Vegas I came back with a mug from cheers and found out when we got home it has a crack in it so now it holds beer bottlecaps just ask Flowmaster he has seen it and he told me that's not enough yet

Our beer mugs from last year are also display only.

We made 75, 55 of them personalized. Sold them all. Only 2 or three ever made it into the beer garden for consumption. Kinda bummed me out, killed the whole reason for making them. . .
