Looks sweet, and i bet its fast. That car is a paperwieght. The engine definatly looks modified. Even if you were able to squeeze 70hp out of it, it would be a screamer. And I've heard things about racing 360's that have made up to 125hp.

 

And yeah, that paint job is beautiful.

Man if u could get 125hp outta that! Dang that would fly! It looks lighter then a vw bug, looks WAY cooler! It reminds me of a Fiat Abarth corsa. Thats my favorite kinda Fiat:burnout:

unless it has a kawasaki 1100 in there, im not impressed. racing! then my hatch is a race hatch

archemitis if you took that 360 with 70hp and compared it to your hatch with 70hp, that 360 would tear the pants off of you and wave them back.

 

Its not really hp that makes it a racing car... its the hp to wieght ratio. That 360 is TINY. Not sure how much it wieghs, but it cant weigh much at all.

70 hp in a 360 would be disgusting! The 360 doesn't even weigh 1000 lbs, people! Brian is exactly right. 500 hp is absolutely nothing if it's moving 12,000 lbs... The only way to truly measure a car's potential is to find out its power-to-weight ratio...

 

If I had $20k to throw away, I would buy that without question. It's local to me too :santa:

yah yah i get it. i like the ones with motorcycle motors better. just seems like a crazy amount of cash. take it easy on the hatch guys!

Dont get me wrong. I would LOVE to have a hatch. But not as much as I'd want a 360.

I'm all about that paint job. It's ultrapimptastic! The 360 looks neat too. Kinda like an old bug mated with a new Mini

Isn't much more. I like this 360 but wouldn't a WRX be more fun and more car for the buck?

no SHawn. This is a mint racing 360. If I read that page right, it has 1 mile on it. Was built for racing, but was never raced.

 

Sure, WRX's are nice and all... but this is a one of a kind Racing 360. Not even a STi would make me turn my head.

 

Even if I needed a heart transplant, and saved $20,000 for it... i would blow it all on that 360.

when has a 360 evern made 75hp? its 360cc stock right? a 600 cc modern motorcycle makes about that right? how could a na ever have 75hp, even bored out. i might have the 360cc thing wrong. not sure. just wondering here, dont start nocking the hatch again.

I never knocked the hatch. I would love to have a hatch. Hell... i cant turn down any subaru. Even a Justy.

 

But you line up 3 subaru's side by side.

Racing 360, WRX Sti, lifted hatch...

 

I'd pick the racing 360 ANY DAY. Even if it did make stock power of 25hp.

 

I know on Gran Turismo 2 i can buy a 25hp 360 and make 125hp with a stage 1 turbo kit

75 hp is reasonable out of that engine, if you have the money. My 500cc snowmachine can be modified to over 125hp. I bet you could get real close to 100 if you put on a turbo kit, some fatty expansion chambers, and dual 40mm carbs.

 

With 75hp, that car would have about the same power to weight ratio as a WRX. Not to mention the fact that being a 2-cycle, the top end is just wicked.

I have read about snowmachine turbo kits in magazines. Apparently, they can double the horsepower or something like that if done right. I don't know if they lower the compression or anything else internal as part of the deal. 25hp stock for a 360cc two cycle is pretty resticted. My dad's sled makes 36 hp stock and it's a 300 with a single carb and not the most free-flowing exhaust.

 

 

It's possible to get INSANE power out of two-cycle motors.

can you really pick a 360 on grand turismo 2? I've never played.

Old saab sonetts, 95 and 96 came with a 3 cyl- 2 stroke motor. theres a guy in oregon that ralleys the 3 cyl sonett.. But then again, he also has a sonnet with an EJ18(?) maybe EJ22.. can't remember which
