need a definitive answer on 15" pugs and modding

Featured Replies

ok, before i resell these 15" pug alloys i just snarfed from pap in lynnwood..want to know if they will rub with the current 205/60/15 tires it has on the rims...if it makes a difference i did recently install kyb gr2 shocks so no droopiness there..just dont want to do any fender or lip rolling or bfh whacking...

also, only was able to get one set of the lugnuts...somebody left the rims and took the other 3 sets :( how important is it to have those specific lug nuts and how expensive are they if i have to buy them?

was going to resell these but they really look cool :) could use the few bucks i would make but will see what answers i get first...

:D

The tire size calculator puts those tires at 24.7 inches. On a stock 4WD EA82 wagon(87+ non adjustable struts) Those shoud fit quite nicely. You may experience a little rubbing in the back if you are say.. loaded down with camping gear and take big bumps at 70+mph :-p (not that I would ever do anything like that)

I ran 185/80/14s and they are just a little larger overall than what you have and I rarely had rubbing issues.

Lug nuts are necessary. Do not even attempt to use subaru lugs on the rims, you risk the chance of the rims comming off your car.

The only DEFINATE answer you'll get is "try for yourself". They shouldnt rub on your car, but only 100% surefire way to know is to mount them up yourself.

a pug shop, or find some 12x1.25 nuts with a ball seat....

You might want to try this place - an ebay store - carries the 12x1.25 tuner

lug nuts for Subes/Nissan etc.

i never had issues with the lug nuts on my rx when i put on the pugs that i have. i drove the car for a while and never had issues with the rims, only the engines.

the ball seat ones are needed for the 15" alloys. the 14" alloys, and any pug steels can use acorn style nuts...

i dont know what nuts are on mine, i just know that the 15" alloy pugs that i have went on without an issue and have been on the car for quite a while, i never had any issues with em coming loose of not holding the rim down. are there any pics of the different lug nuts that are out there?

Where is this wheel page?
