Buddy's car stollen!!!

Featured Replies

Man talk about bad luck, If you all remember I ran a buddy from work the other night with my GL and I just found out today that on the same night his WRX got stollen right out of the Movie Theatre Parking lot!!!

I really feel bad for him right now since it only had 5000miles on it and he just got a nice new custom painted wing on it, bunch of mods, and was just starting to get it where he wanted it.

He looked really pale today, and they haven't found it yet. He had the factory subaru alarm system but we all know how crappy those are:rolleyes:

This is why I have the best alarms in both my cars with starter, fuel pump and ECU kills with relays that I installed myself in such a way as to make it nearly impossible to find or tamper with.

If you guys see a 2005 Silver WRX with a Silver Painted Wing that sits real low with a loud exhaust, let me know, we're all looking for it since its a 1 of a kind wing.

Makes me sick, $(#*$ theafs!

man that sucks. some people sure do stoop really low to steal someones pride and joy. I hope it turns up and in nice condition(not torn to peices)

Yeah theft realy hurts. At work the other day we had a brand new (like 300km on the ODO) forester X auto get towed in. It had been stolen from the UNI carpark, been caned round town, driven through a barb wire fence, jumped (must have got some air because all the struts were bent just above where they mount to the hubs) then they must have been cutting up the salt flats because there was about 2 inches of salt mud on the bottom of the car bumper to bumper. Riped the splash guard clean off along with both front inner guards. When i saw it i shuddered. In almost 19 years i have never seen such disrespect for a subaru. Last week i replaced the ignition barrel and the door barrel, today i replaced all the struts and tomorrow is going to the pannel shop to have the inner guards and the front bumper replaced and get some pannel work before geting a respray. This had a happy ending the car was insured and found in reasonable condition, not striped at all.

I hope that your friend get his car back and its not stripped or burned. It sounded like a good car. Sorry to hear it was stolen and again i hope he gets it back.

That is really a bummer :-\ but from your description it sounds like every other WRX on the road.

A pic might help further identify exactly what his car looked like as opposed to every other modified WRX.

I'm assuming it was insured?

We wish him well.

Bummer deal, dude. I hope get gets it back soon, and in decent shape.

jumped (must have got some air because all the struts were bent just above where they mount to the hubs)

They must have been launching it off cliffs or hitting big curbs really hard or something... I've jumped my legacy pretty hard before and didn't do any damage.. I jump the railroad tracks on a regular basis... It's such a sweet 62-66mph jump!!! Anyway... sorry to hear about your buddies car man, hope he gets it back!

Yeah, i saw that one... also saw one in white, one in Yellow and a couple blue ones.

Hope your friend finds his car.
