Rally roof air scoop

Featured Replies

Anyone know if there is anything like this availabe to buy?I have been thinking of building one to put on my '87 hatch.

I believe they exist. :)

I want pic.s if/when you do it.

Do you want this to be functional? (engine air, snorkel, or what?)

And if remember right, Primitive Racing used to sell them.

Let me do a little footwork(internet). I seem to remember seeing functional roof scoop kits(complete with all mounting hardware) somewhere online in the past 5-6 months. I'll see if I can find it again.

im thinking of putting one on my suby like the one on my hood (stainless ice machine style) for better ac action(i was gonna duct it in to blow toward the seats (each one) under the head liner) couse i dont have one

Thanks for the help in looking for a roof scoop!I would really like to set something up where it would be functional.Maybe even put a fan up there on the inside for cool air to get blown down.My car doesn't have a/c so this would be nice when I am going down the trail. Thanks again I will let you know what I can find and how it goes on the install.I am putting it on my little hatch.:)

that looks like a brat t top roof cutout and welded into a hatch.neat idea

Well people, after thoroughly wearing myself out looking for the roof scoop kit, I regret that I had no luck in finding anything. All I could find was pics of homemade roof scoops(some just looked pretty shameful:-\ ). I'm truly sorry. But I'll keep my eyes open around here and see if anyone sells anything like it. If so, I'll let everyone know.
