subiemech85 Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 I need more clearance for the rear tires 195/60 R15 to fit without interference when loaded and I hit bumps, accelerate, or corner I only have about 1.5" from top of tire to bottom of wheel arch The question is should I lift it or swap on the rear adjustables form the '85 wagon :cool: lift costs money, but the adjustables I have. dmcdlrn Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 hehe, you could do what I did... go to the parts store and pick up some of those rubber spring stiffeners and jamb them into the spings... picked me up like 2.5 to 3 inches all the way around. soobmater Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 uh your i bet your axles love you! not so much the back one's, but the fronts! you could swap for the adjustables, and just lift it up a notch or two, that probably won't be to bad..but you might be best goin with a 3 inch lift.. rallyruss Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 I found that springs from the front of certian hondas will lift the rear nicely. I just happen to have a set lying around too. I now have adjustable coil overs in the rear and no longer use them. let me know if you are interested. there were some old threads around from when I first discovered this.
