November 23, 200520 yr Picked up a turbo wagon with the pinball machine digidash. Got an rx with a manual dash. Benifits? Downfalls? what should i keep in the wagon since everything is gettin torn out of the rx to swap to the wagon Andrew
November 23, 200520 yr i say put the manual dash back in.digi has way to many problems and the manual is more acurate. my vote: MANUAL
November 23, 200520 yr Analog (manual). It's simpler, clearer, and far less prone to problems. Dito! And the analog is eazyer to see when direct sunlight hits it.
November 23, 200520 yr I like the manual better also.Looks better I think and easier to fix if need be.
November 24, 200520 yr i say build your own, then tell me how you did it i keep threatening to make my own digi dash using this
November 24, 200520 yr wow so many for analog.Hmm.....yah i'd have to agree with others. i've had digi before an no sir i didn't like it
November 24, 200520 yr Keep the digi if it works, there will be someone soon that needs a working digi dash. I plan on setting up some kind of dash/intake manifold desk light using a 12V converter and some fiber optic strands.
November 24, 200520 yr +1 for the analog dash. digidash would be cool if it made noises like real pinball. *inserts pinball noises*
November 27, 200520 yr Digital! All the way! (of course, I'm big on goofball nerdy '80's crap) Wire up an extra tach if you crave analog. Hell, I'm having fits trying to find an '87-'91 Toyota Camry digital dash. They only sold them in Japan and Canada. If any of you PacNW folks see one, tell me!
November 28, 200520 yr Analog, I converted my digi to analog and will never look back. I must say that my girlfriend at the time really liked my digital. So if you are intersted in picking up chicks keep the digi if not ditch it for the analog. Some advice if you do switch to analog make sure that the bearings on the analog speedo are not sticky. Mine turned out to be so my speedo gets really slow to respond around 60 to 80. Good luck
November 28, 200520 yr I vote for keeping the Digi if it still works. Haven't spent much time with mine yet but think it is interesting. The Analog system in my 91 isn't all that accurate either, so whats the difference? Stumpy
