i currently am running ground control coil-overs on my stock shocks. i've put about 5000 miles on them with no problems. i use the coilovers for a 02-03 wrx, but i have legacy sturts in the front since i did a five lug conversion. it sits really low, no finger gap in the front, and about 1 finger in the rear, and sometimes going over huge speed bumps or in bad road conditions, it might rub a little in the front. my suggestion is to try the ground controls. i got mine for $50 off of ebay. good luck soldier.

yes, but i put the coilover sleeve on the top since there were some fitment issues on the bottom.

That is really weird . I looked and didn't see any of the cheapo coilovers either:confused:

Russ.. were you looking for info about installing them on your RX?

see im confused as well. i used to see them all the time, now all i see are legit cround control from $300ish and thats not fun haha.

well I was wondering about using Impreza suspension in the rear for an upgrade. I know I can put coilovers on the stock shocks, just looking for more of an upgrade;)

Boob, this has been talked about.

Remember... Impreza's and early legacy's all have struts at all 4 corners.

New legacy's use a front strut, rear coilover like our cars do.

In fact, my roomate happened upon some rear Legacy Outback coilovers, and they are damn near identical to ours.

So... if you are 5-lugged... you want to look for new coilover suspension for the new Legacy GT. But watch out... I haven't found anything under $1000... and that was used!

Yeah thats why I was getting a little confused because I know that most of the EJ series cars have 4 struts so I musta been getting myself all confused while looking at different parts.

Hmmm, LGT coilovers..... I hear the bank breaking already:rolleyes:
