May 16, 200619 yr I just plopped a weber on and I was wondering how the ea81 runs with all i mean all emissions off the engine All i have on there is fuel return main fuel and heater hose no emissions,, im worrying that my engine might start running hot or not running right at all
May 16, 200619 yr one thing is your car might backfire with more unburnt mixture making it to the exhaust. but i don't think there is any emissions device that will make your car run bad if without.

May 16, 200619 yr I've been running a weber on my '84 Brat for three years without problems overheating until a water hose let go.
May 17, 200619 yr i have had a weber on three engines now,and have had no probs at all with any type of overheating.and i destroy motors.
May 17, 200619 yr Monstaru eats motors for breakfast and brushes his teeth with that foamy brush stuff they have at the car wash. several people have sucessfully passed emissions running Weber carbs with varying amounts of emissions doodads present or removed from the car. Go for it.
