November 1, 200322 yr well when i pulled the one outa the parts wagon, the engine came out and the flywheel, etc stayed on the trans.. so i start to pull mine last night and the flywheel, clutch, everything is coming off with the engine.. is this right? i'm a bit cornfused..:cornfuzz:
November 1, 200322 yr there is no way the flywheel and clutch stayed on the transmission. the flywheel is bolted to the engine with something like 8 bolts. you sure you werent drinking heavily when you saw this?

November 1, 200322 yr Yeah, was the 1st enging you pulled attatched to an automatic? If so, thats the torque converter and not the flywheel. -Brian
November 1, 200322 yr either it's an automatic and you mistook the FW for the torque converter or it's a manual with a stripped out crankshaft?
November 1, 200322 yr Author well i looked at it again, (think i was delerious the first time around) but the cluthc, pp and flywheel were on the spare engine.. musta been thinkin about other things when i looked.. tookm it apart and the clutch was shot anyways.. so i guess its not wierd afterall
