Rocker Molding

Featured Replies

Looks like someone stole my passenger side rocker molding the other day, it was loose in the back, but has been that way for months. Anyone have any cheap replacement recommendations?

Yeah, I'm sure Philly has a few. Just never been to any, guess I'll have to make a few calls this weekend. The price for a new one is outrageous and can't see spending that for a 10+ year old car.

Ouch! You got me there. Mine has been VERY reliable for 10+ years.

last yr i de-GTed my legacy and i had that molding for about 3-4 month and had to get rid of it due to lack of storage.

figures that someone would need that molding...:banghead:

well when a car is 13years old and u get the dummest mechanics that screw up ur car, it cost more in the long run, but now that i bring the car to my dealer, nothing goes wrong. My car is still very very reliable just the only real repair repair was when my awd solenoid and clutch were screwed, but thats all.

give me a better description of the part you need.

the grey molding along the bottom of my leg is what he's talking about

Go steal it back.;)JK. Someone stooped real low to get that part.

Yep, that be it.

ok i'll bite. it's not the molding on the doors but molding on the ouside of the car along the bottom edge betwen the wheels.

it's official , i've never seen it. i've had 3 legacys, never seen it. is this something addedd to GTs but not leg L?? i thought it was metal frame???

Yep, that be it.

yeah, made the gt look sporter than the L.

i'd recommend putting a want ad on here if not already done, and check the selling section for people parting out gts (every once and a while someone does)

Yes, actually the molding goes all around the bottom of the car. Must only be on the GT's then. Here is a good pic from an Ebay auction for a 98GT that shows the molding, click on pic to enlarge:
