November 15, 200619 yr Here are some pics of what he's done to my old wagon. Re-lifted 3 inches, running on %100 propane, pics tell the rest. See that Justy? It's turbo'd.
November 15, 200619 yr Putting a "no smoking" sticker on the dash might be good for some laughs. Priceless. AWESOME looking rig though, much envy on the LPG conversion. I think the exhaust like that calls for a snorkel on it somewhere, to balance it all out. can't wait to see it with a motor installed
November 15, 200619 yr I think the exhaust like that calls for a snorkel oh my monkey nuts! i was staring at that motor and couldn't figure out what that was until i read your reply!Gotta love the Medford police for letting you guys drive stuff like that. BAH HHHHAAAAHAHAHH!!!! HA HA!!!! is that really legal? no side marker lights?
November 15, 200619 yr can't wait to see it with a motor installed Take a look at the first pic, the engine's in there under all that stuff.

November 15, 200619 yr BAH HHHHAAAAHAHAHH!!!! HA HA!!!! is that really legal? no side marker lights? Markers look to still be there - mounted outboard of the headlights.... but I've never been stopped for having bad markers or bulbs anyway. In fact on my lifted wagon I put orange bulbs in the marker lens and use them as my turn signals cause I don't have em in my bumper/guard anymore. Seriously tho - the Medford police must be blind. Adam was always rolling around in his t-case purple brat with the ER27 looking like it was about to fall out the front of the engine bay. I think he has been stopped for the tires sticking out too far, but got only a warning That thing pictured above wouln't make it to the corner market here in Portland. I would have 3 police vehicles surround me and I would probably get strip searched or something. They might tow it if they could figure out how. GD
November 16, 200619 yr Take a look at the first pic, the engine's in there under all that stuff. Okay now, I am almost 26 years old. When I was 13 I met a guy with a chevy van that ran off LPG, and ever since then I have been intrigued, and wanted to do it. I asked him a thousand questions then, I have plagued LPGSuperchargedBrumby about it, and i have since learned a GREAT deal, but have yet to convert a car. I must humbly admit that I just completely failed to anticipate the near TOTAL lack of "fuel intake" hardware perched on top of the box-four, AND failed to imagine that the entire assembly could be soo ABSURDLY low-profile!! thank you for pointing out that the engine was, in fact, there..... At least I helped someone else ID the muffler :- ) Kick @ss and take names, my friend. nice rig.

Ian (Bugaru) did it about a year ago to his EA81 hatch (among other things). It's really simple for a carb - they make a LPG "carb" that mounts with the same flange as the Weber. He went with a 30 gallon tank, and said he expects about a 500 mile range with it. His hatch is a beast: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=57399&highlight=unhatched GD
November 16, 200619 yr heh, that thread was like, two weeks before I joined. I am just mortified that I failed to notice the engine, because i failed to notice a big tall gasoline fuel intake on top of it.
