I was told that there's a good mechanic in this list in Portland, OR. Does anyone have a contact info for this person? My '88 with 204,000 miles has very low torque at lower rpms. I owned a '92 Geo Prizm so I'm not horse power hungry. In the lower rpms, it's ridiculously underpowered I can't even go up a hill in first gear.

Contact Richie Rich. He has a shop in Portland, and does good work. I'd go to him but 2,400 miles is a bit far for me.

Yeah Richie is a good guy, he's never worked on anything of mine, but I did buy a car from him a while back that I never had a problem with, and I've seen his work.
