Cool for just fun

Pretty incredible. Anyone else think it wasn't quite as quick as it should be?

I think it is pretty heavy, at least 800 kg, then he is probably a bit afraid of the power , the STI should be much much faster.

this thing looks so stinking slow... if its a true sti with everything.... then why wont he give it the juice!!! its not going to pull a wheely.. its got awd and an engine in the front!!! and not to menchen a panzi at the wheel:grin:

Good lord, give the poor driver a break!

With ~300 hp (assuming it's a 2.5L) that thing must be damn squirrely once you get into it, even with AWD. I've got to imagine he's going easy on it in the vid. Me, I wouldn't even entertain the thought of getting onto something with that much power and no metal around me. Now, put that engine in a car and it's a whole different ballgame... :-p

i know its got 300 horses... but still why wouldnt he rev it up?? i never once heard the roo go even close to redline!!!

Problem is he's too old for it. He should give it to some 18yo to race, someone not so aware of mortality.

(I resent that)

OTOH Ive seen this (non-subaru) quad bike race and it is nuts... its got more power and its been built to be used, not just for show:

... All I can say is ...

I'd like to see you ride it.

i would ride it... but only in a straight line.. not on turns!!!

all that work and they use crappy wheels:-\

i know that this STIATV is crazy looking, but i want to see this thing in action, none of this onroad bull-oni, i want to see DIRT!

EDIT: the video on the site is a long video, with a little bit of grass action which pleases me a little bit

if they gave me 2 hours of practice time on it i would give a pretty good show:lol: ive riddin a jetted 660 and holy crap! thats quicker then most cars, gas it and ur throwin 15 foot roosters (6 speed too!) but that subaru:slobber: u could hit a calm lake and cross it like ur jesus:lol:

I <3 Subaru:headbang:

Looks like fun but not for cage drivers. They say NASCAR guys think GP Guys are crazy and GP guys think NASCAR guys are nutz. To each his own, But I agree give it to someone not aware of pain and deah and lets see what that thing will do on the 1/4!!!

I still reckon your safer off in a F1 car then in a road car. Just think about how many people die pre race mile and practice mile, hell even test mile in a F1 car vs on road drive deaths... But thats another subject.
