puegeot sterling rims

Featured Replies

I say a pug sterling with a real wide 4 lug pattern and a cooler looking rim. does any1 know if these sterling rims will fit a soob?

Are you sure it wasn't just a Sterling 827, the old Acura Legend rebadge?

Like this?

They had a symbol similar to the Peugeots, with a lion on its hindlegs.

Im pretty sure it was a pug. I was driving by it. Im going to go look at it today and see whats up with it?

Google returns no results for any Peugeot that was ever named Sterling, in any market.

Well, the Sterling that I posted a picture of, strangely enough, is just an Acura Legend with Sterling badging. That's the only Sterling that we ever got in this country.

Look on ebay. Puegeot Sterling??? It showed some stuff

From one of the Bay o'E posts:

PEUGEOT

& STERLING

DISC BRAKE PADS

I seriously doubt that there is much in common, but maybe Sterling used european brake components on their rebadge. Can't imagine that Peugeot used anything other than French components. I certainly can't imagine that such a French manufacturer would use such an English name as "Sterling" for one of their models.

As far as I know a "Sterling" was a re-badged Rover (english) for the American market.

Rover took some twists and turns during their demise so who would actually know what kind of parts were used to make these things.

I Used to Drive my White EA82 with -just- a Pair -in the back- of Peugeot Rims with This Shape:

But they used "Pass Thru" Bolts, and where Branded: "Cheviot" instead of Peugeot... They work fine in Subies. :)

You can See ´em in this Pic:

Then, I Changed the Pattern in Both my Subies, so now They use a More "Standard" Pattern...

(I done that due to the Lack of a Complete Set of Four Rims of same Design... After 20 Years of Havin´ the Same Car Drived in our Pathetic Roads, Full of Pot Holes, etc... Some Rims where Fatally Damaged, so I Changed some... Then the Subie looked like some sort of Ugly, usin´ Different shape Rims Front / Rear... That´s Why I Changed Pattern.)

And Now, Looks like This :):

Those are Cheap but Nice Lookin´Rims, and Finally All of ´em are of the Same Shape! :)

Both my Subies got changed the Pattern.

Good Luck! :burnout:

Lets have a party!!! LALALALALALALALA.. (throws confettie or whatever its called)
