Very simple question for you folks....

 

What years were ea81 made? I am asking because someone is selling parts from an '84 and I want to put the seats in my '82. I have searched the forums but everyone just seems to KNOW the exact years these were made...except me. And before you ask, I would simply measure the seats but theyre a long ways off....but not too far if they fit and are in good shape, I love that cheesy brown plaid!

Because the "Loyale" Shaped EA82 Subaru, was made since 1981 in Japan, Along with the EA81... The same happens when Subaru introduced the Legacy in 1989, the Loyale was along with i in Production untill 1994...

He means just for the USDM. I don't think either of them care where else in the world what year was what.
