The final days of the RX...

Featured Replies

So these are the final days of my RX... well in MY hands at least. I have given up on it and moved onto another EA82 coupe. I know its going to be going to a loving home so hopefully one day, it'll live on and the new owner has less issues then I have had with it. Good luck.

Pics speak for themselves.

Why are you Sellin´ it?

Because in 59 days from today, I'm moving to Washington which is 18+ hours away and I can only take one car with me. My '78 Brat is going to be staying here and maybe, one day I'll come back to get it. The RX has just had so many issues since I got it and having 3 different engines in it and only driving it like 100 miles... yeah its a done project. That and I've got another EA82 coupe that is in a lot better condition to start off with then my RX.

And yes Erik, I think you're one of the very few who actually saw it run. I have a vid on my computer of one of the first times I ever fired it up but its nothing special.

Well the guy who was going to get it decided it was too much work to bring back. So this coming week, the RX is going to get picked up by the scrapyard and hauled off where it'll meet its maker. From there, it'll go to Subaru heaven and hopefully be remade into another Subaru. Farewell black RX, your rarity will be missed by some but the large pain in my @$$ and hole in my wallet will be gone:-p
