This is just a trailer/teaser, I've got a guy going thru 6 hours of footage that I sent him. He's making a full length vid. Should be out soon. . .

The toy vs brat.mov 5.6 MB plays fine, not too sure about the bigger file.

Enjoy.

nice! thats the reason I'm in a Subaru in the first place...half the price, fully capable and most of all, not your every day rig! what can i say i like the odd in life. cool vid! cant wait for the end results. the big file works on my cable connection.

You've been teasing us with this for awhile! This guy must be slow as molasses! What, does he have a day job and a family and everything? :dead:

I bet bet he's spending all his spare time trying to get his 'project car' on the road or something lame like that.

They'll do a lot if you know how to drive them too. FYI, that was the first one I ever lifted. It had over 200k mile on it. I bought it from the local Subaru only junk yard, thye had used it for a deliver vehicle for years. It never broke, I didn't put any dents in it. I can't say I've ever "thrashed" any of my Soobs. I can say I've laughed at others doing it though.

I've always been able to drive my cars home, I've only used my AAA twice, and that was to tow buddy's Soobs that were broken.

When I sold it, it made the trip to Texas without a breakdown. That's almost 2000 miles I believe. It's down fall was getting rear ended at a stop light by a car traveling over 50 miles per hour.

With offroading I consider thrashing when you start spitting rocks all around and get wheel hop.

But that's just what I think, if you don't consider that thrashing, good for you and enjoy.

Please, I don't want to argue. I'd just like to agree to disagree.. Thank you.

Whether you want to argue or not, I think your statement is full of crap. You've got me pretty pissed off, and I'm not gonna bite my tounge.

Where exacty in the clip to you see my brat have wheel hop? If so, do you know what wheel hop is caused by? Not by bad driving or "thrashing" but by having bad shocks. I assure you, mine were replaced with new ones.

And spitting rocks comes from spinning the wheels. Wheels spinning comes from no lsd or welded diff. You'll notice that once the wheels spun, I let off the gas.

I suppose next you'll tell me you've never spun your tires. You know what, I'd believe you. You know why? Cuz you've neve once showed me a pic of your ride doing anything off road except lifting a tire while you posed for a pic on the way down a hill.

I'll bet you that you've never ever had a chance to wheel in a place like that spot in the clip. If you had any idea how steep and crazy it is, you would have never made such a comment. Nor if you had seen as many big gnarly rigs as I have break their stuff trying that climb.

The video is due out soon. My bet to you is this: If you can produce a vid of you doing any kind of decent wheeling in your brat that doesn't invlove you spinning your wheels, I'll send you a copy of the video free of charge. I'll pay for shipping and everything.

If you cannot produce a vid, then you have to stay out of any thread I create from here on out. How about that? We got a bet?

(it's my opinion that everything you know about wheeling you found on the internet, you have very little first hand experience.)
