May 26, 200718 yr LOL ..but you have a spray booth and gun ..dont forget I used spray cans.....You think thats bad, my brother used a paint roller on his 83 wagon :-p Doesn't look to bad really, just a little textured and not shiny... I think I'll do my hood and roof properly, I know a panel beater.

I think I'll do my hood and roof properly, I know a panel beater. Use rustoleum metal enamel paint, thin it about 50/50 with mineral spirits, use a high density foam roller, and wet sand it well between coats. After 6-8 coats, with proper sanding, you wind up with a mirror gloss finish. One of these days I will do this myself, and I WILL have a full write up here with pictures. In the meantime, here is a link: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=107977
May 26, 200718 yr Well my brothers wagon cost him $250... So two coats with no sanding done his quite alright He done a good job at matching the paint color (he works at the hardware store so he mixed it himself.)
May 29, 200718 yr You think thats bad, my brother used a paint roller on his 83 wagon :-p ... ...Well... Dad and I, used "Glidden Brand House Paint" on an Old Datsun Pick-up we use to Own... The Result was Nice, but No Shine after a Week or Two...
