okay. the writeu was for a gen2 vehicle..... (sorry the keyboard wont work for the letter after `o`

 

the control valve is dealer only, and is anywhere from $91 to $131 (number after 9 doesnt work either

 

I think somebody else suggested using a dremel as well, to cut oen the end...

 

 

Todd, for a Gen1, it might be easier to just ull the dash since there is less wiring.... not sure what it would take to slit the heater box though.... thats still to come on my 78 if I kee it...

I think my new 78 project has a leaker. It's not a priority, but I will get to it fairly soon. I'll keep you updated. But you are right in that it might be just as easy to pull the dash.
