July 17, 200718 yr Alrighty, so I know I've read threads on this before, but i can't seem to find them not that it actually affects me....#1: How much modification is required to put a gen 1 roll bar onto a gen 2 brat? #2 are there any other trucks with roll bars that will fit without much modification on a gen2? Such as a yota or little dodge or chevy? Again, I'm sorry for asking an old question, but i'll appreciate any reply's, even useless ones!

July 17, 200718 yr Our world is flat... I've seen a yota roll bar in a gen2 before. I think the legs had to be shortened some. It's been a while so I can't be for sure

July 17, 200718 yr I have a gen 1 tall rollbar I'm going to put into my 82 Brat. It looks like I'll have to drill new holes in the plate to get it to bolt into the bed behind the cab and the legs that go to the fenderwells will need modification/shortening too. I might just go without them. Other than that it should be an easy fit. Frank (fshnidiot)
