October 12, 200718 yr Author I think I'll rub it in some more........my wheels came in today. Tires come in late tomorrow, probably cant get them mounted till Monday:-\ From a Nissan Murano, 18x7.5 Shoe size will be 245/40 :-p Still debating on painting them, I have time yet.
October 16, 200718 yr Author Looks good. Hows the ride with the lower profile tires? I just took it for a ride. The tires still rub a little, need to massage the edge of the fender a little more. But I can take a corner at more than 30mph
October 16, 200718 yr Author Thanks, I'm certainly liking it :-p I did cheat in taking the pic. You cant see the nasty hood or the passenger door. 2 items that need work. The hood is almost dry, its in my office under a heat lamp
October 17, 200718 yr Here's my $800 deal: 159k, LS-L (Loaded) Here's why it was cheap: PO had a new flexplate put in, and the shop that did it forced the engine and tranny together with the bolts, didn't have the TC fully seated into the pump... So the pump welded itself to the housing: and when it did, the torque converter spun around the pump drive shaft (which stayed stationary due to the pump being seized) and did this to the drive ears: (Had to use the shop press to get the TC out!)
October 17, 200718 yr I'm looking at joining the new gen crowd here very soon myself. Unfortunatly, the new gen will be getting transplanted into the old gen.. Maybe thats not unfortunate at all......
October 17, 200718 yr if no one has called it out the LF and RR wheels are on the wrong way. the fins should point forward. looks like a diagoan tire rotation instead of front to back. just giv'n you hell. have fun
August 18, 200817 yr Congratulations man, another SVX owner:banana: "Walk among us" Only if there's tranny issues!
