What's The Diffirnence Between Gl And Dl

Featured Replies

Mostly interior options.

GL has a tachometer.

GL has Dual Range 4WD (in the EA81 lineup)

GL has better seats, better radio etc.

Then there is the GL10 line that has power everything, and usually turbo (ea82 series)

GL10 stands for 10 factory options, It doesn't matter what options though!,

As far as I know no EA82 DLs had power windows or locks. GLs were a mix.

The differences varied over the years, like others have said.

i can tell you what my dl doesnt have

no tach

no power options (though it does have air)

no dual range

quad headlights instead of the 1 plastic piece on each side

i got 2 1988 Station wagons the same colour. 1 is an DL and GL both are front wheel drive with 1600 engine. GL has the electric mirrors, Rev counter, hight adjustable drivers seat. adjustable steering hight, adjustable intermitant wiper speed, power steering, touringing wagon extra hight roof part, and the 2 part rear folding down seat

thats the differences ive noticed so far :burnout:
