LOL I bet you 95% of those rigs had to be trailered in because they aren't close to street legal. Did you have to trailer your Subaru?

Im not pretending it will be a crawler. I just want a mild offroader/mudder.

I like yours. have you seen DRKRAZY's?

That sweet lifted 4dr sedan of DRKRAZY's is truly something to see! Much bigger in person. I was lucky enough to be able to drive that awsome subie! :slobber:

What was the little yellow hummer wannabe?

Was that a subaru as well?

I was wondering that too. Jeep cj?

I was wondering that too. Jeep cj?

Yeah that was a jeep . yes i did the engine conversion. very good swap more power and tourqeand in my opinion more reliable. i am still runing a factory driveshaft, axles and exhaust. my hybird transmission that i built made it so simple. had a turbo sedan running 16 lbs once and my friends ej brat could have ate my sedan like it was sitting still. my favorite engine 4 about the last 6 years was the ea81 now since this swap ill never have another ea series engine again (at least no longer than what it takes to get it home to pull it out lol) just my opinion not trying to make anyone mad.

electrial......as for car running i took the donor car apart and cut and removed the wires that was not used for the engine to run, left engine in car and when i wasto mor critical things i would start the car after every wire i cut time cosuming yes but worth it

Someone in this area has an ej Brat???

How the hell did I not hear of this sooner???

I think the EJ Brat he is referring to is located here in TN. It may not be, but reguardless there's one down here somewhere.

the ej brat im refering to is the one or i should say was in johnsoncity. I helped my friend build it, man was it fast and strong... he sold it to his cousin in kingsport who somehow busted the transmission case......think he as hauling a bed full of gravel..anyway, he just removed the ej to put back the ea81 engine which he deems as the best engine ever made by subaru.so yes there was an rust free ea81 brat with high top camperwith the ej22 for a while close to us.
