OB99W Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 Cost of repair, and if DIY will likely be good enough, depends on the nature of the dent. A shallow dent with very minimal creasing can often be pulled out without too much effort, and sometimes "paintlessly". Deep dents, sharp creases, damage to more than the door "skin" can require quite a bit more effort/parts/paint, and of course the cost is higher. x_25 Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 If it isn't too bad of a dent you can heat it up with a hair dryer and then take a bottle of caned air and turn it upside down and spray it to freeze it.
