i had to sew all of that by hand! big PITA!... and pretty much all the plastic in my brat is sunfaded

ive heard that rustoleum makes a plastic paint , or altleast they say its for plastic. has anyone tried to repaint plastic?

Yeah, you have to get the really good stuff though or it wears off. I have heard of plastic restorer that's supposed to restore faded plastic, but I dunno where to get it.

The Krylon Fusion plastic paint works awesome. I painted the "4WD" on the back of my Brat's mudflaps about 3 years ago and it still looks like the day I painted it. I'm sure it would be awesome on interior as well.

I made one for my Brat recently too.

Heres the pictures.

The old one torn and I pulled it out a long time ago. But the rubber boot under it had a hole and I got a fair bit of road noise through it. I didn't care much but then I got around to doing the cover because I kept getting splashed inthe face by water making its way up and around the shifter linkages and propshaft! I was quite happy with the finished project. Its just vinyl though.

Ill second the Krylon Fuzion. Nice stuff.

As far as plastic-restorer, we have some stuff at the shop that works nice, but its professional-grade. Sale to the public is like 150 bucks a gallon (or so our distributer says) *pukes*
