Lol..

I just checked the weather... 40-50 Mph winds tonite.. Gonna be real cold..

Anyways, the test drive went great.. Car runs way smoother and accelerates a lil better.. Can't wait to get the accel wires and Ngk plugs in there...

ahhhh thats to damn cold. I thought 5 degrees was cold when I woke up this morning here in Nevada. Sorry dude

well here in ohio, +60 today, teeshirt weather, anyways, please post the results after you put the nkg plugs in, because i am thinking about doing the same thing , i already have the ngk plugs in and heavy wires but no super coil, and am going to do some exhaust work also

I put new NGK's with some 8mm accel wires and the Accel super-stock coil. Regapped my NGK's to something like .050.

Throttle responce was alittle better, but the most noticeable difference was the way the car pulled through gears in the higher rev's. It seemed to have more power and didnt lag like a dog above 3500rpm like before.

exactly what TheSubaruJunkie said...

my set up will be the same as his..

I reccomend this to anyone with a carbbed EA-82

Mine was done on a EA81. Would imagine a higher CR would compliment the better spark. Not willing to pull my heads just yet to have them shaved tho.

i've been procrastinating replacing to a better coil. guess i'll do that next month. since i'll have that new motor and tranny. i'll need everything i can to make it run awesome. that 115hp is gonna be sweet.

hey if it makes you feel better it was like 70 degrees here in yuma today!! above freezing. but i bet you i'd like to trade you summers... 120 Degrees...

Blech. And I thought I've seen cold weather... I remember some cold nights up in the Adirondacks, where we'd see single digits. Seem to remember some nights below zero, too, but they were rare.

Throw in that kind of wind, and I certainly would not want to be outside.

Somehow that little yearly subsidy (sp?) that you get for living in AK just doesn't seem worth dealing with the cold and that whole long day/night thing.

On the other hand, it does make NY sound a bit more hospitable :D

Torxx, keep complaining only more loudlt next time. It's now 30 + in Anchorage. Good job, dude.

Dang, I wish it was that cold here in Haines! We lost almost all of our snow down in the valley to torrential rains early last week, so the sledding sucks and snowmachining is out of the question without a 30 mile drive on bad roads to get there.

Anybody who says Alaska is too cold hasn't really seen Alaska. It's worth putting up with the temperatures and the five hours of daylight during the winter.

Check this out if you want to see what AK is all about (at least for me). I know it's actually Canadian, but it's right next door to us.
